Albendazole, a benzimidazole derivative, inhibits microtubule synthesis by binding to β-tubulin, disrupting essential cellular processes in helminths. This synergistic combination is effective against various intestinal and tissue parasites, including strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, ascariasis, trichuriasis, hookworm infections, and neurocysticercosis.
