Hftril 50 Tablet contains a combination of Sacubitril (24 mg) and Valsartan (26 mg), formulated for the management of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Sacubitril is a neprilysin inhibitor that enhances the levels of natriuretic peptides, promoting vasodilation, natriuresis, and diuresis, thereby reducing cardiac workload and improving cardiac function. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that inhibits the effects of angiotensin II, leading to vasodilation, decreased aldosterone secretion, and reduced blood pressure. The combined action of these agents provides a synergistic effect in reducing the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization due to heart failure. Hftril 50 is indicated for adult patients with chronic heart failure classified as NYHA class II-IV and reduced ejection fraction. It should be administered under medical supervision with appropriate monitoring of renal function, electrolytes, and blood pressure. Contraindications include a history of angioedema related to previous ACE inhibitor or ARB therapy, pregnancy, and severe hepatic impairment.
