Zayo 200 Tablet contains Sacubitril 97 mg and Valsartan 103 mg, a combination medication primarily indicated for the treatment of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Sacubitril is a neprilysin inhibitor that enhances the levels of natriuretic peptides, promoting vasodilation, natriuresis, and diuresis, thereby reducing cardiac workload and improving cardiac function. Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that inhibits the effects of angiotensin II, leading to vasodilation, decreased aldosterone secretion, and reduced blood pressure. The synergistic action of these agents helps to decrease hospitalization rates and mortality in patients with chronic heart failure. Zayo 200 Tablet is administered orally and should be used under strict medical supervision, with dosage adjustments based on renal function, blood pressure, and patient tolerance. Common adverse effects may include hypotension, hyperkalemia, renal impairment, and dizziness.
