Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines, thereby facilitating gastric emptying and reducing symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, and erosive esophagitis.
