Domperidone is a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system at the secretory surface of gastric parietal cells, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief in acid-related conditions.
