Goodgliptin M 500 Tablet is a combination oral antidiabetic medication containing Metformin 500 mg and Vildagliptin 50 mg, indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Metformin, a biguanide, primarily acts by decreasing hepatic glucose production, enhancing insulin sensitivity, and improving peripheral glucose uptake and utilization. Vildagliptin, a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor, increases incretin levels, which inhibit glucagon release and increase insulin secretion in a glucose-dependent manner.
