Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, enhances gastrointestinal motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby reducing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor, suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, providing effective relief from acid-related symptoms and promoting mucosal healing.
