Esolab DSR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Domperidone 30 mg and Esomeprazole 40 mg, designed for the effective management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia, and related upper gastrointestinal disorders. Domperidone, a peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist, facilitates gastric motility and accelerates gastric emptying, thereby reducing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and bloating. Esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cells, promoting mucosal healing and symptom relief. The synergistic action of these agents addresses both acid-related mucosal damage and impaired gastric motility, offering comprehensive symptom control.
