Zylol-T 50 Tablet ER is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Telmisartan 40 mg and Metoprolol Succinate 50 mg, formulated for extended release to provide sustained blood pressure control. Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, thereby reducing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, leading to decreased peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure.
