Zubidol P 100mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain, inflammation, and fever. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. This combination is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other inflammatory conditions. Zubidol P is effective in reducing pain, swelling, and stiffness, improving patient mobility and quality of life. It should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and cardiovascular disease. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and dizziness. The medication should be taken as prescribed, preferably after meals to minimize gastrointestinal irritation.
