Zolnac-SR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Aceclofenac 200 mg and Rabeprazole 20 mg, designed for the management of inflammatory conditions accompanied by pain and gastrointestinal protection. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for inflammation and pain. Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in gastric parietal cells, providing effective gastroprotection and reducing the risk of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers and dyspepsia.
