Disruption of ergosterol synthesis leads to increased membrane permeability and ultimately fungal cell death. Zocon Lotion is effective against a broad spectrum of dermatophytes, yeasts, and other pathogenic fungi responsible for conditions such as candidiasis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis. The topical formulation allows for direct application to affected areas, providing targeted antifungal activity with minimal systemic absorption. It is recommended to apply a thin layer of Zocon Lotion to the affected skin once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the infection, for a duration prescribed by a healthcare professional. Patients should avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Adverse effects are generally mild and may include local irritation, redness, or itching.
