Ziffinac Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of the prostaglandin synthesis pathway in the central nervous system. Ziffinac Tablet is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and postoperative pain. It is effective in reducing inflammation, swelling, and stiffness while providing symptomatic relief. The combination enhances analgesic efficacy while minimizing the dose-related adverse effects of individual components. Ziffinac should be administered orally with or after food to reduce gastrointestinal irritation. Caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, hepatic or renal impairment, and cardiovascular diseases.
