About This Medicine
Product description & overview
Zerodol TH Max 4mg/100mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Thiocolchicoside (4mg), Aceclofenac (100mg), and Paracetamol (325mg). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts by selectively blocking glycine receptors, thereby reducing muscle spasms and associated pain. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, leading to decreased prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol provides additional analgesic and antipyretic benefits through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. This combination is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders characterized by pain and inflammation, such as acute low back pain, osteoarthritis, and soft tissue injuries. The synergistic action of these three agents helps in effective relief of pain, reduction of inflammation, and muscle relaxation. Zerodol TH Max should be used under medical supervision, especially in patients with hepatic, renal, or gastrointestinal conditions. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, or allergic reactions. Caution is advised in patients with hypersensitivity to any component, and concurrent use with other NSAIDs or hepatotoxic drugs should be avoided. Proper dosage and duration should be adhered to, to minimize potential risks.
