Zeroace-P Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg, indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic agent, provides additional pain relief by acting centrally to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. The combination of these two agents offers enhanced analgesic efficacy while potentially reducing the dose-related adverse effects associated with higher doses of either component alone.
