About This Medicine
Product description & overview
Xpain Plus 8 Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Thiocolchicoside (8mg), Aceclofenac (100mg), and Paracetamol (325mg). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts on the central nervous system to relieve muscle spasms and associated pain. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), provides potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol contributes additional analgesic and antipyretic properties, enhancing overall pain relief and fever reduction. This formulation is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders such as acute low back pain, muscle strains, sprains, and other conditions involving muscle spasm and inflammation. Xpain Plus 8 Tablet is effective in alleviating pain, reducing inflammation, and improving mobility in patients experiencing musculoskeletal discomfort. It should be used under medical supervision, especially in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, liver or kidney impairment, or hypersensitivity to any component. Caution is advised when administered concomitantly with other NSAIDs or hepatotoxic drugs. The dosage regimen should be tailored according to the severity of symptoms and patient response, ensuring the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration to minimize adverse effects.
