Xlor-MD Tablet contains Loratadine 10 mg, a second-generation antihistamine used primarily for the relief of allergic symptoms. Loratadine selectively inhibits peripheral histamine H1-receptors, thereby reducing the effects of histamine, a chemical responsible for allergy manifestations such as sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal congestion, and itching. This medication is indicated for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria.
