Xglar Refil Injection (3ml Each) contains Insulin Glargine 100 IU/mL, a long-acting basal insulin analog indicated for the management of diabetes mellitus in adults and pediatric patients requiring prolonged insulin therapy. Insulin Glargine provides a steady, peakless insulin release over 24 hours, mimicking endogenous basal insulin secretion, thereby improving glycemic control and reducing the risk of hypoglycemia associated with peak insulin levels. It is administered subcutaneously once daily at any time of day, preferably at the same time each day, to maintain consistent plasma insulin levels. Xglar Refil Injection is suitable for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan including diet, exercise, and other antidiabetic agents. Dose adjustment should be individualized based on patient’s glycemic response, blood glucose monitoring, and clinical condition. Patients should be educated on proper injection technique, storage conditions, and recognition and management of hypoglycemia. Caution is advised in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. This product is supplied as a 3ml cartridge for use with compatible insulin delivery devices. Xglar Refil Injection should not be mixed with other insulins or diluted, as this may alter its pharmacokinetic profile and efficacy.
