Xeronac-P Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Aceclofenac 100 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol complements this action by providing effective analgesia and antipyresis through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, with minimal anti-inflammatory activity. Xeronac-P is indicated for the management of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and acute soft tissue injuries. It is also effective in alleviating mild to moderate pain, including dental pain, postoperative pain, and dysmenorrhea. The combination of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol offers enhanced pain relief while potentially reducing the dose-related adverse effects associated with higher doses of individual components. Xeronac-P should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, hepatic or renal impairment, and cardiovascular conditions.
