Xeroflam 50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Diclofenac 50mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and fever. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, provides analgesic and antipyretic effects through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, complementing the peripheral action of diclofenac. This combination is indicated for the management of mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, postoperative pain, and dental pain.
