Winbp MT 50 Tablet is a combination antihypertensive medication containing Olmesartan Medoxomil 20 mg and Metoprolol Succinate 50 mg. Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptor, thereby preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone secretion, leading to vasodilation and reduced blood pressure. Metoprolol Succinate is a cardioselective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker that decreases heart rate, myocardial contractility, and cardiac output, contributing to blood pressure reduction and improved cardiac function.
