Weteye Eye Drop contains Carboxymethylcellulose 0.5% w/v, a viscous lubricant designed to provide effective relief from dry, irritated eyes. This ophthalmic solution acts as a tear substitute, enhancing ocular hydration by stabilizing the tear film and preventing moisture evaporation. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of dry eye syndrome, which may result from environmental factors, prolonged screen exposure, contact lens wear, or postoperative conditions. Weteye Eye Drop helps to alleviate discomfort, burning, stinging, and foreign body sensation associated with insufficient tear production or poor tear quality. The formulation is preservative-free, minimizing the risk of ocular surface irritation and making it suitable for frequent use, including in patients with sensitive eyes. Administration involves instilling one or two drops into the affected eye(s) as needed, ensuring optimal lubrication and comfort throughout the day. Patients are advised to avoid contamination of the dropper tip and to discontinue use if ocular irritation or hypersensitivity occurs. Weteye Eye Drop is compatible with contact lenses; however, lenses should be removed prior to application and may be reinserted 15 minutes after instillation.
