About This Medicine
Product description & overview
Waygesic-TH Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Thiocolchicoside (4 mg), Aceclofenac (100 mg), and Paracetamol (325 mg). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts on the central nervous system to relieve muscle spasms and associated pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and swelling. Paracetamol provides analgesic and antipyretic effects by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. This synergistic formulation is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders such as acute lower back pain, strains, sprains, and other conditions involving muscle spasm accompanied by inflammation and pain. Waygesic-TH Tablet offers rapid and effective relief from pain and inflammation while improving muscle mobility. It is generally well tolerated; however, it should be used with caution in patients with hepatic, renal, or gastrointestinal impairment. Contraindications include hypersensitivity to any component, active peptic ulcer, and severe hepatic or renal dysfunction. Patients should adhere to prescribed dosages and consult healthcare providers before use, especially if pregnant, breastfeeding, or on concurrent medications to avoid potential drug interactions and adverse effects.
