The Nauset 4mg Tablet contains Ondansetron 4mg as the active ingredient, a serotonin-3 (5-HT3) receptor antagonist. Indicated for the prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting associated with highly emetogenic cancer chemotherapy, as well as postoperative nausea and vomiting. It is also effective in the management of nausea and vomiting caused by irradiation or chemotherapy in children. Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment, elderly, or those taking concomitant CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers. Adverse effects may include headache, constipation, fatigue, and drowsiness. In case of overdose, monitor the patient closely and provide supportive care.
