About This Medicine
Product description & overview
Moxezar-BR Eye Drop is a topical, sterile, preservative-free ophthalmic solution indicated for the treatment of postoperative inflammation and pain following cataract surgery and corneal refractive surgery. This formulation combines the potent anti-inflammatory properties of bromfenac, a potent prostaglandin E2 receptor antagonist, with the broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity of moxifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. The synergistic effects of these two active ingredients provide effective relief from postoperative inflammation and infection. Moxezar-BR Eye Drop is administered topically, 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 15 minutes for the first hour, followed by 1-2 drops every 4 hours as needed. The recommended treatment duration is up to 14 days. The solution is clear, colorless, and sterile, and is packaged in single-use, 5-mL plastic bottles. Moxezar-BR Eye Drop is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to either active ingredient, and should be used with caution in patients with a history of corneal defects or ulcers.

About Bromfenac

Bromfenac's clinical significance lies in its effectiveness for managing post-operative inflammation. In summary, Bromfenac is essential for post-surgical eye care.
How It Works
