Molunamax 200 Capsule is a prescription-only medication containing molnupiravir, a direct-acting antiviral agent, in a strength of 200mg per capsule. This medication is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in adults who are at high risk of hospitalization due to COVID-19. Molunamax 200 Capsule is not intended for use in severe COVID-19 or in patients who require hospitalization. The product works by reducing the viral load and thereby preventing the virus from replicating, thereby helping to alleviate symptoms and improve clinical outcomes. The recommended dose is 800mg twice daily for 5 days. Molunamax 200 Capsule should be taken with food. Patients with certain medical conditions, such as liver disease or kidney disease, or who are taking certain medications may require dose adjustments. Common side effects may include headache, nausea, and fatigue. Molunamax 200 Capsule is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to molnupiravir or any of its excipients.
