This oral therapy is indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB) with symptoms of urgency, frequency, and nocturia. Mirabegron's beta-3 receptor activation stimulates detrusor muscle relaxation, reducing bladder contractions and increasing functional bladder capacity. Simultaneously, solifenacin's selective muscarinic receptor antagonism blocks the effects of acetylcholine on the bladder and urethra, thereby reducing detrusor muscle contractions and urinary frequency.
