Microcid-SR Capsule is a slow-release formulation containing 75mg of indomethacin, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat various conditions characterized by inflammation and pain. The capsule is designed to provide prolonged therapeutic activity, with the active ingredient released gradually over an extended period. Microcid-SR is indicated for the relief of moderate to severe pain, inflammation, and fever associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used to treat acute gouty arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, and tendinitis.
