ME-PR Capsule is a combination pharmaceutical formulation containing Methylcobalamin 750 mcg and Pregabalin 75 mg, indicated for the management of neuropathic pain and related neurological disorders. Methylcobalamin, an active form of vitamin B12, plays a crucial role in nerve regeneration and repair by promoting myelin sheath synthesis and enhancing neuronal function. Pregabalin, a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) analogue, exerts its therapeutic effect by binding to the alpha-2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, thereby reducing neurotransmitter release and alleviating neuropathic pain and seizures.
