Malwa-SP Tablet is a combination analgesic formulation containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 10 mg, designed to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation. Aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts centrally to alleviate pain and reduce fever through inhibition of the prostaglandin synthesis pathway in the central nervous system. Serratiopeptidase, a proteolytic enzyme, facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of inflammation and edema. This synergistic combination is indicated for the management of musculoskeletal disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and soft tissue injuries including sprains, strains, and postoperative inflammation.
