Mac OS 1000mg/10ml/20mg/10ml Suspension is a combination oral suspension containing Sucralfate 1000mg per 10ml and Oxetacaine 20mg per 10ml, formulated for the management of gastrointestinal mucosal protection and symptomatic relief of pain associated with esophageal and gastric ulcers. Sucralfate acts as a cytoprotective agent by forming a viscous, adhesive barrier on the ulcer site, thereby protecting the mucosa from acid, pepsin, and bile salts, promoting healing. Oxetacaine, a local anesthetic, provides rapid analgesic effects by stabilizing neuronal membranes and inhibiting nerve impulse conduction, thus alleviating pain and discomfort related to mucosal irritation. This suspension is indicated for the treatment of active duodenal and gastric ulcers, gastritis, and esophagitis where mucosal protection and pain relief are desired.
