Luray Lotion contains Luliconazole 1% w/v, an antifungal agent indicated for the topical treatment of superficial fungal infections of the skin such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis. Luliconazole belongs to the imidazole class of antifungals and exerts its effect by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thereby disrupting membrane integrity and leading to fungal cell death. Luray Lotion is formulated for cutaneous application and is intended to be applied once daily to the affected area and surrounding skin, typically for a duration of 2 to 4 weeks depending on the infection site and severity. The lotion base facilitates good skin penetration and ensures sustained antifungal activity. Clinical studies have demonstrated Luliconazole’s efficacy and safety profile, with minimal adverse effects reported, primarily limited to mild local irritation or erythema at the application site. Luray Lotion should be used with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to luliconazole or any formulation components. It is contraindicated in systemic fungal infections and should not be applied to mucous membranes or broken skin.
