Sodium Hyaluronate is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan with high water-retaining capacity, providing effective lubrication and moisture retention on the ocular surface. Lupi-HA Eye Drop is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome, including irritation, burning, and foreign body sensation. It aids in restoring the tear film and promotes epithelial healing by forming a protective, hydrating layer over the cornea and conjunctiva. The formulation is preservative-free, minimizing the risk of ocular surface toxicity and making it suitable for frequent use, including in patients with sensitive eyes or those using contact lenses. Lupi-HA Eye Drop can be administered as needed, typically one to two drops in the affected eye(s) several times daily. It is well tolerated with a low incidence of adverse effects. Patients are advised to avoid contamination of the dropper tip and to discontinue use if ocular irritation or hypersensitivity occurs.
