Luliconazole exerts its antifungal activity by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, thereby disrupting membrane integrity and leading to fungal cell death. The cream formulation allows for targeted application to affected skin areas, promoting rapid symptom relief and resolution of infection. Luliz 1% Cream is typically applied once daily for a duration ranging from one to two weeks, depending on the severity and location of the infection. It is well-tolerated with minimal systemic absorption, reducing the risk of systemic side effects.
