Ludura Cream is primarily prescribed for conditions such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea pedis caused by dermatophytes including Trichophyton species, as well as for candidal infections of the skin. The cream should be applied once daily to the affected area and surrounding skin after thorough cleansing and drying, typically for a duration of 2 to 4 weeks depending on the severity and location of the infection. Clinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in rapidly reducing symptoms such as itching, scaling, and erythema with a favorable safety profile. Adverse effects are generally mild and may include local irritation, burning sensation, or erythema at the application site.
