Lipigo A 10mg/75mg Capsule is a combination medication containing Rosuvastatin 10mg and Aspirin 75mg, indicated for the management of hyperlipidemia and the prevention of cardiovascular events. Rosuvastatin, a potent HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, effectively reduces low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), total cholesterol, and triglycerides while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). Aspirin, an antiplatelet agent, irreversibly inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), thereby reducing thromboxane A2 production and platelet aggregation, which lowers the risk of thrombotic events such as myocardial infarction and stroke. This fixed-dose combination is particularly beneficial for patients at high risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease who require both lipid-lowering therapy and antiplatelet prophylaxis. Lipigo A should be administered once daily, preferably at the same time each day, with or without food.
