Ldnil 20 Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 20 mg, a potent lipid-lowering agent belonging to the statin class of medications. It is primarily indicated for the management of hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia, effectively reducing elevated levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), total cholesterol, and triglycerides while modestly increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). Rosuvastatin exerts its therapeutic effect by selectively inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis, leading to decreased cholesterol production in the liver and upregulation of LDL receptors, which enhances clearance of circulating LDL particles.
