It contains Phenylephrine (5mg), a selective alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist that acts as a nasal decongestant by constricting blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, thereby reducing swelling and congestion. Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2mg), an antihistamine with anticholinergic properties, alleviates allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes by blocking H1 histamine receptors.
