Korum Tablet contains Deflazacort 6 mg, a corticosteroid with potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties. It is primarily indicated for the management of various inflammatory and autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, polymyositis, and allergic disorders. Deflazacort exerts its therapeutic effect by modulating the immune response and inhibiting the release of inflammatory mediators, thereby reducing tissue inflammation and immune system activity. Korum Tablet is also utilized in the treatment of certain hematologic disorders, respiratory diseases, and as adjunctive therapy in specific endocrine conditions.
