Tolnaftate acts as an antifungal agent effective against dermatophytes by impairing fungal cell membrane synthesis. Neomycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, targets susceptible bacterial pathogens by inhibiting protein synthesis, thereby preventing secondary bacterial infections.
