About This Medicine
Product description & overview
Kinoflex-MR4 Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Thiocolchicoside (4mg), Aceclofenac (100mg), and Paracetamol (325mg). Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that acts by selectively inhibiting gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and glycine receptors, thereby alleviating muscle spasms and associated pain. Aceclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts potent anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to reduced prostaglandin synthesis. Paracetamol provides additional analgesic and antipyretic benefits through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. The synergistic action of these three components makes Kinoflex-MR4 effective in managing musculoskeletal conditions characterized by pain, inflammation, and muscle spasm, such as low back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and soft tissue injuries. It is indicated for short-term symptomatic relief where inflammation and muscle spasm coexist. Kinoflex-MR4 should be used under medical supervision, considering contraindications such as hypersensitivity to any component, active gastrointestinal bleeding, severe hepatic or renal impairment, and caution in patients with cardiovascular risks. Common adverse effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, and allergic reactions. Patients are advised to follow prescribed dosages and report any unusual symptoms promptly.

All Active Ingredients
Paracetamol
Paracetamol works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, leading to reduced synthesis of prostaglandins in the brain, which are responsible for pain and fever.
Aceclofenac
Aceclofenac inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for pain and inflammation.
