Kaisita 100 Tablet contains Sitagliptin 100 mg, a potent oral antihyperglycemic agent belonging to the dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor class. It is primarily indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control. Sitagliptin works by selectively inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, thereby increasing the levels of incretin hormones such as GLP-1 and GIP.
