Venlafaxine acts by increasing the levels of neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine in the central nervous system, thereby helping to restore the balance of these chemicals and improve mood and anxiety symptoms. Joyven XR 75 is formulated as an extended-release tablet to provide a controlled release of the active ingredient, ensuring consistent plasma concentrations and enhancing patient compliance through once-daily dosing. The medication should be initiated at a lower dose and gradually titrated to minimize adverse effects such as nausea, dizziness, insomnia, and increased blood pressure.
