Jonac Plus 50mg/325mg Tablet is a combination analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication containing Diclofenac 50mg and Paracetamol 325mg. Diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and fever. Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, provides analgesic and antipyretic effects primarily through central inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.
