This mechanism helps restore the acid-base balance in conditions such as renal tubular acidosis, chronic kidney disease, and certain drug toxicities where acid accumulation is detrimental. Janolizer Syrup is also utilized to prevent kidney stone formation by maintaining an alkaline urinary pH, which reduces the crystallization of uric acid and cystine stones.
