Inflacet-DS Tablet is a combination medication containing Diclofenac 50 mg and Serratiopeptidase 10 mg, formulated for the management of pain and inflammation associated with various musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions. Diclofenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2), leading to decreased synthesis of prostaglandins, thereby reducing inflammation, pain, and swelling. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that facilitates the breakdown of inflammatory mediators and promotes the resolution of edema and tissue repair. This synergistic combination enhances anti-inflammatory efficacy while potentially improving tissue healing and reducing discomfort. Inflacet-DS is indicated for acute and chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, postoperative inflammation, and soft tissue injuries including sprains and strains.
