Imxia F Solution is a topical formulation containing Minoxidil 5% w/v and Finasteride 0.1% w/v, indicated for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in adult patients. Minoxidil, a potent vasodilator, promotes hair follicle stimulation and prolongs the anagen phase of the hair growth cycle, thereby enhancing hair density and thickness. Finasteride, a selective 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, reduces the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a key factor in hair follicle miniaturization and progressive hair loss. The combination of these two active ingredients provides a dual mechanism of action addressing both the hormonal and follicular components of hair thinning. Imxia F Solution is applied topically to the affected scalp areas once daily, ensuring localized effect with minimal systemic absorption. Clinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in improving hair regrowth and slowing hair loss progression with a favorable safety profile.
