Idel-PM Oral Suspension Orange is a combination analgesic and antipyretic formulation containing Mefenamic Acid (100 mg/5 ml) and Paracetamol (250 mg/5 ml) designed for effective management of mild to moderate pain and fever in pediatric and adult patients. Mefenamic Acid, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), exerts its therapeutic effect by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes, thereby reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain. Paracetamol, a centrally acting analgesic and antipyretic agent, provides additional pain relief and fever reduction through inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system.
