Icebic-DS Tablet contains Sodium Bicarbonate 1000 mg as its active ingredient and is primarily indicated for the management of conditions associated with metabolic acidosis and acid indigestion. Sodium Bicarbonate acts as an alkalizing agent by neutralizing excess gastric acid, thereby providing symptomatic relief from heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion. It also serves as an effective systemic alkalizer in cases of metabolic acidosis resulting from renal dysfunction, diabetic ketoacidosis, or other acid-base imbalances.
