The hypertonic concentration of Sodium Chloride facilitates the reduction of corneal edema by drawing excess fluid out of the corneal stroma through osmotic pressure, thereby improving corneal transparency and visual acuity. Hyperton Eye Drop is indicated for the management of corneal edema associated with conditions such as keratitis, corneal dystrophies, and post-surgical corneal swelling. It is also useful as a supportive treatment in cases of minor ocular infections where antimicrobial action is beneficial. The solution should be administered as directed by a healthcare professional, typically one to two drops instilled into the affected eye(s) several times daily.
